INTRODUCING NEWOSTAT®
INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL ANTISTATS FOR PLASTIC
Everybody is familiar with electrostatic discharge. It becomes visible, and especially perceptible, when walking over a nonconductive floor, then touching a door handle and getting “a shock.” Such discharges are not only unpleasant, but in many sectors are even dangerous. Antistatic agents are used to avoid this problem and thus make both the manufacture and the use of plastic products safer. However, antistats can also contribute an additional positive effect. With NEWOSTAT® antistatic agents, the tendency of many plastics to attract dirt can be markedly reduced.
